I just love how beautiful wax can be when lit from behind (or within). I whipped up a few of these “light boxes” to highlight the translucency of beeswax. These simple paintings are done on glass, and when lit up, each brush stroke becomes visible. I prefer to set them on a windowsill—that way they glow with natural light when the sun shines, and at night or on a grey day, their light is much more subtle. These are now available in my etsy shop, right here.
