Remember my musings about time? Well, they finally managed to manifest themselves into a finished piece.
The Illusion, 8″ x 30″ encaustic, mixed media on wood
This piece is a triptych made up of three 8″ x 10″ paintings, and I painted it using many layers of encaustic wax, paper, red string, and image transfers of numbers. I based this piece around the following quote by Albert Einstein:
“The distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.”
